Arc System Works, the developer behind Guilty Gear -Strive-, is recruiting the initial team for its new TAKUMI studio in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The facility is scheduled to open on November 2, 2026, with a new fighting game among its first development projects.
That project has been selected for IP360, a subsidy programme run by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The company has not announced the game’s name, so it remains unclear whether it belongs to an existing series or introduces a new franchise.
