The official site of the Eleceed anime announced on October 21 that the series premieres in April 2027, along with an English trailer.
What is Eleceed about?
Eleceed (エレキシード) is a Korean webtoon written by Jeho Son (SJH) and illustrated by ZHENA, serialized since October 2018. According to the anime's official site, it regularly places near the top of the action-battle rankings in many countries and has passed 1.75 billion total views (as of May 2026).
The lead is Yu Kazahaya (風早勇羽), a high school student who lives timidly and hides a strange power out of fear, since he knows nothing about the world of "awakened" people. One day he nurses an injured stray cat, and his world changes. The cat suddenly speaks: it is Kayden (カイド), the strongest awakened person, transferred into a cat's body and unable to return. Kayden moves in with Yu, and the two are gradually drawn into the organizations and plots of the awakened. The official site sums it up as "the path to ultimate strength, guided by a cat".
Who is making the anime?
DandeLion Animation Studio makes the animation. Hiroshi Nishikiori directs, Yosuke Kuroda handles scripts and series composition, and Minami Sakura designs the characters and is chief animation director together with Masato Kato. Taku Iwasaki composes the music.
The official site has announced the cast: Junya Enoki as Yu Kazahaya, Yu Hatanaka as Jin Tatsuoka, Setsuji Sato as Dr. Delaine, Hayato Dojima as Sota Yanagi and Shizuka Ito as Amane Yanagi. Kayden's voice actor has not been announced (shown as "????" on the site).
When and where can you watch it?
The official site only says it "airs from April 2027". The Japanese broadcaster and exact date and time, the number of episodes and any platform outside Japan have not been announced on the site. So no legal way to watch in Vietnam has been named, and you should follow the official site and the English trailer for updates.
You can read the source webtoon in English on WEBTOON, and the official site also links to the Korean original on Naver Webtoon. The site does not mention a Vietnamese edition.
