Chapter 384 returns after a 9-month hiatus, Gaga Studio continues to respectfully complete Miura's legacy.
Overview
Berserk chronicles the grim odyssey of Guts, the Black Swordsman wielding the massive Dragonslayer sword, and his fateful conflict with Griffith following the horrific Eclipse.
OtaHub's take
The late Kentaro Miura's transcendent artwork represents the absolute pinnacle of visual craftsmanship in the comic medium, evoking Renaissance-era etching precision.
The narrative explores human resilience, trauma, camaraderie, and an indomitable will defying the predestined cruelty of the God Hand.
Contains graphic violence, psychological horror, and mature themes intended strictly for adult audiences.
Verdict
Berserk remains one of the most important dark fantasy works in manga. The score covers its current phase: Studio Gaga respectfully continues the Fantasia arc along the direction Kentaro Miura left behind, but long breaks (chapter 384 returned after nine months) make the reading rhythm uneven.
