Overview
Neverness to Everness (NTE) is a free-to-play open-world action RPG developed by Hotta Studio and published by Perfect World Games. Hotta Studio is the team behind Tower of Fantasy. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and offers both single-player and multiplayer modes.
OtaHub's take
The story is set in Hethereau, a fictional modern city where supernatural anomalies exist alongside everyday life. You play an Appraiser who investigates those anomalies and uses Esper abilities to contain them. You run, climb, swim and drive across the city, then fight with a team of four switchable characters, using dodges, perfect dodges and parries. Vehicles can also be customized and upgraded.
The game launched in China on 23 April 2026 and worldwide on 29 April 2026 on iOS, Android and PS5, with a PC version through its own launcher. By July 2026 it was also on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Samsung Galaxy Store. Progress carries over when you sign in with the same account across platforms. Version 1.2 added the S-Class character Shinku, a new main story chapter and an exclusive vehicle obtainable through a draw event.
Verdict
NTE suits players who like a modern open world, running through the city and fighting in teams, and who want one account across phone, PC and PS5. It is free but has gacha mechanics, so it is wise to set a spending limit first. OtaHub has not confirmed PC specifications, so none are listed here.
