OtaHub's take
The Mask gives power to anyone who wears it, which can mean endless possibility or unimaginable tragedy. Peru, a pupil of the mask maker Gaston Roux, is controlled by the Mask of the Warrior God and unintentionally kills his friends and even his master, so he swears to destroy all of Gaston's masks. Tetsuaki Watanabe directs and Daisuke Oohigashi handles series composition.

It suits viewers who like supernatural action with a somber tone, built around a journey of atonement. The data lists no earlier work, so newcomers can start from the first episode.
