What happens at the Kagurabachi Singapore screening?
The October 12 tour announcement adds Singapore, Seoul and São Paulo to the next leg. Singapore's programme runs for one hour, but the footage is limited to episode 1's first 20 minutes, with stage activities making up the rest.
Taihi Kimura, who voices protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira, and anime producer Kan Mizoguchi are scheduled to attend both Singapore and Seoul. Singapore has a confirmed event slot, but it is an in-person preview rather than an online release date for episode 1.
Check AFA Singapore 2026 for attendance information. The event pages say programmes may change, so check the details again before making travel plans.

How does the Tokyo finale differ?
Kabukiza will show both opening episodes in full rather than a 20-minute excerpt. It is the first complete screening of episodes 1 and 2, ahead of the anime's April 2027 launch.
Guests include Taihi Kimura, Tomokazu Seki (Kunishige Rokuhira) and Katsuyuki Konishi (Togo Shiba). The official event page also schedules a live relay to cinemas across Japan, covering the screening and cast talk at Kabukiza. Participating cinemas and ticket-sale dates will be announced later.
What is Kagurabachi about, and who makes the anime?
Takeru Hokazono's Weekly Shonen Jump manga follows Chihiro, the son of a swordsmith. After his father is killed and powerful enchanted swords are stolen, he sets out for revenge and to recover them. Enten, the sword his father left him, becomes Chihiro's weapon.
The official anime site lists Cypic as the animation studio, Tetsuya Takeuchi as director and Keigo Sasaki as character designer. Shochiku and CyberAgent lead the production committee. The announced release window is April 2027.
Where can viewers in Vietnam watch?
The published tour schedule has no Vietnam stop. Singapore offers a nearby option for an in-person visit, but event admission and travel arrangements are separate from watching the series when it airs.
The CyberAgent press release on PR Newswire names Crunchyroll, MUSE and SMG Holdings among broadcast and streaming partners without identifying a platform for Vietnam. A distributor's name does not establish availability across all of its services.
OtaHub's take: an early viewing, not the release date
Singapore offers a look at the opening and a chance to meet people making the anime months before broadcast. If you want the complete series to watch at home, April 2027 remains the relevant window. A short preview suits viewers who want the atmosphere of an event; it cannot yet replace following the story through complete episodes.
FAQ
Does Singapore screen all of episodes 1 and 2?
No. Singapore screens the first 20 minutes of episode 1; Tokyo hosts the complete two-episode screening.
Are ticket-sale dates available for Kabukiza and the relay cinemas?
The official event page says ticket-sale dates and participating cinemas will be announced later.
