Love Live! Hasunosora Girls’ High School Idol Club is planned to run for seven episodes, covering April through June of the school year the project calls its “106th term.” The story continues at Hasunosora Girls’ High School in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, where students pursue their ambitions through school idol performances.

Three new first-year students, Maika, Aoi and Mion, join the existing club members. Their arrival brings a younger generation into a group whose senior students are carrying on the school’s traditions.

Maika’s introduction to school idols begins at a school event

Maika Kinjo starts on the path to becoming a school idol after her best friend Aoi Reisawa takes her to Bloom Garden Party at Hasunosora. Maika speaks her mind and does not readily change her position. She can be stubborn and awkward, but she is also kind to people in difficulty and quietly admires club president Ginko Momose.

Aoi is more outgoing. She loves the club so much that she talks rapidly and at length whenever it comes up. She also looks out for Maika, giving their friendship a concrete place in Maika’s introduction to school idol activities.

The other new first-year, Mion Shinowa, enjoys magic and putting together surprises. Her pranks sometimes get her into trouble, but she wants to make people happy and laugh. Those interests distinguish her from Maika and Aoi.

Ginko is now a third-year student and the club president. She hopes to pass on the traditions and feelings she inherited from her seniors. The lineup also includes Kosuzu Kachimachi, Hime Anyoji, Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld and Izumi Katsuragi.
