Overview
BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita is a 13-episode TV series in Bushiroad's BanG Dream! music franchise, made by studio NICHICALINE and starting on 2/7/2026. The story follows a group of girls who are suddenly placed together and have to debut as the virtual band Mugendai Mewtype, even though they have no idea how to perform as one.
OtaHub's take
The series blends comedy, drama, music and slice of life, and its central question is whether these different personalities can survive a harsh music scene. Bushiroad is the original creator, Tomomi Umetsu directs and Midori Gotou handles series composition. It is a standalone work with no prequel or sequel on record.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like band or idol anime and stories about growing up together, and it can be watched without knowing the other BanG Dream! series.
