Overview

My Happy Marriage (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) is adapted from the light novel by Akumi Agitogi, illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka and published by Fujimi Shobo. It is set in an alternate Taishō era where magic is fading, and its lead Miyo Saimori was born without supernatural ability and is mistreated by her stepfamily.

She is married off to Kiyoka Kudo, a commander with a fearsome reputation, and gradually finds he is not what the rumors say. The two earlier anime seasons by Kinema Citrus aired in 2023 and 2025, and this special picks up after the conflict with Naoshi Usui and the Gifted Communion.

Verdict

The special runs three episodes, with Takehiro Kubota returning as director and Evan Call on music, and M.A.O voicing the new character Kimio Nagaba, a former elementary school classmate of Miyo. It airs on TV Tokyo on October 25, 2026 and streams worldwide on Netflix, meant for viewers who followed the first two seasons.
