NBA 2K25 is the 2024 entry in 2K's NBA 2K basketball series, released on 6 September 2024 with Jayson Tatum on the cover. It includes MyCareer, MyTeam, MyNBA, Play Now, The W and MyWNBA.

On 5 October 2026, 2K announced the game would be delisted from digital stores on 30 October 2026 and discontinued from 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, multiplayer, MyCareer and MyTeam end and VC can no longer be earned, leaving Play Now, MyNBA, The W and MyWNBA.
MyCareer, a largely single-player mode, shutting down too because it is tied to VC and servers sparked debate over ownership of purchased games.
Verdict
existing owners can still redownload and play the offline modes. Prospective buyers should pick a newer entry, since NBA 2K25's online modes only last until the end of 2026.
