Overview
Needy Girl Overdose adapts the game by WSS playground, with original planning by Nyalra. Yostar Pictures produced 13 episodes, airing from 5/4/2026 (the schedule lists 4/4/2026). The story centres on OMGkawaiiAngel, affectionately known as KAngel, the top streamer with ten million subscribers, and the people around her.
OtaHub's take
The three-girl streaming unit Karamazov strives to catch up with KAngel's popularity, while Kache, a girl who works at a theme cafe and lives with her freeloader boyfriend, is far removed from that world. The genres are adventure, drama, psychological and slice of life. Masaoki Nakashima both directs and handles series composition.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like psychological drama about social media and streamer culture, and who know or are curious about the original game. The content can be quite heavy, so consider that before watching.
