Overview
Odekake Hololive (おでかけホロライブ, abbreviated Odeholo, English title hololive: Let's Head Out!) is the first TV anime project from hololive production, the VTuber brand of COVER Corporation. Kadokawa and COVER announced it during the hololive Next livestream on 7 September 2026, as part of events marking the brand's 10th anniversary.
OtaHub's take
According to the official introduction, it is an omnibus travel story. hololive members, familiar to audiences from livestreams, use their days off to travel across Japan season by season, eating local food and taking in the scenery. The structure suits a large cast because each trip can focus on a different group instead of squeezing everyone into one storyline.
Studio KAI handles the animation; per AniList, Shunsuke Machiya directs, Kōdai Minami handles series composition and Masatoshi Tsuji designs the characters. The official website presents 29 talents, including Tokino Sora, Shirakami Fubuki, Hoshimachi Suisei and Usada Pekora. That is the list of introduced characters, not a promise that everyone gets equal screen time.
As of 2 October 2026 the air date, episode count and international platforms have not been confirmed. Verdict: for people who already follow hololive, and a possible way in through an everyday-life format if you have not watched the streams, but it is best to wait for the official schedule.
