OtaHub's take
The story is set in Hoori, a mountain village that keeps many old customs. Arichi Masaomi accidentally breaks a sacred sword, awakening the sword spirit Murasame, and must become engaged to the shrine maiden Yoshino Tomotake as atonement. This romantic-comedy premise gradually uncovers mysteries about a curse and the village's history.
Yuzusoft announced the project at Yuzusoft SONGFES 2026 on 26 July 2026: it is the first anime adapted from one of the company's games. It sits under WWWave Corporation's Deregula label, the original voice cast of Sora Haruka, Yuki Kotorii, Mikan Sato and Sawa Sawawa returns, and KOTOKO performs the opening song.
At the time of writing the animation studio, director, episode count, air date and age rating have not been announced. Since the original game is an adult title, it is best to wait for official word rather than speculate about the anime's content.
