Yuzusoft confirmed during its Yuzu Soft SONGFES 2026 event on July 26, 2026 that its visual novel Senren*Banka is getting an anime adaptation, set to premiere in 2027.

The visual novel's original voice cast is reprising their roles: Sora Haruka as Tomotake Yoshino, Yuki Kotorii as Mako Hitachi, Mikan Sato as Murasame, and Sawa Sawawa as Lena Liechtenauer. Singer KOTOKO, who performed the visual novel's theme song, will also perform the anime's opening theme. The announcement did not include a studio, broadcast format, or streaming platform.
Senren*Banka is set in the remote mountain village of Hoori, where protagonist Masaomi Arichi accidentally breaks the divine blade Murasamemaru free from the stone it was lodged in, forcing him to marry the village's shrine maiden to make amends and drawing him into a mystery surrounding a curse on the village. The visual novel was released in Japan in 2016 to mark Yuzusoft's 10th anniversary, later localized in English by NekoNyan in 2020 and ported to Switch in 2022.
This marks the first time a Yuzusoft title has received an anime adaptation since the company was founded in 2006. You can find more on our latest news and Anime pages.
