Overview
Solo Leveling: KARMA is a roguelite action RPG based on the Solo Leveling IP, developed by Netmarble Neo and published by Netmarble. It was revealed at Anime Expo 2025 with isometric hack-and-slash combat, dungeon crawling and shadow summoning, aiming for more action and replayability than Solo Leveling: ARISE. The story covers the 27 years Sung Jinwoo spends fighting Monarchs inside a sealed dimensional rift, a stretch the original novel and webtoon do not detail.
OtaHub's take
At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Netmarble showed a demo build with more than 200 buff types and 8 playable characters. The standout is the Shadow Army, which is not just a summon but a set of characters you control directly. Inven Global also lists Story Mode and Survival Mode.
Pre-registration has been open since 16 September 2026 on Google Play and the App Store in Korea and Japan. Rewards include the Sung Jinwoo Predator outfit, a Shadow Monarch halo ornament, a Monarch's Box, a Hunter's Box and a secret support card. No launch date has been announced, and there is no global release date either. The original announcement listed Android, iOS and PC, but recent sources do not detail the PC version.
Verdict
it suits Solo Leveling fans who like quick runs, buff-based builds and replaying, more than those wanting a content-heavy RPG like ARISE. Confirmed: pre-registration in Korea and Japan, and the buff and character counts in the demo. Not confirmed: the launch date, international timing and the PC schedule. Players outside Korea and Japan cannot pre-register yet and should keep watching.
