Ghost of Yōtei review: Atsu hunts the Yōtei Six in 1603 Ezo with kusarigama, ōdachi, dual katanas and a wolf companion; Metacritic 86, praised swordplay but criticized for weak side quests and a dated open world.
Overview
Ghost of Yōtei takes place more than three centuries after Ghost of Tsushima and tells a standalone story. Atsu returns to Ezo to hunt the six people responsible for her family tragedy.
OtaHub's take
The open-world design emphasizes choosing targets, exploring the wilderness around Mount Yōtei and using several weapon types instead of following one fixed route.
Erika Ishii plays Atsu. Sucker Punch Productions developed the game and Sony Interactive Entertainment published it for PlayStation 5.
Complete Edition is OtaHub’s ranking label for the full-content package. This profile uses official Ghost of Yōtei information and will be updated if Sony announces a separate SKU.
