Overview
Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) adapts Fujino Oomori's manga, with original character designs by Toshi Aoi. Season 2 has 12 episodes, is produced by Actas and began airing on 12/4/2026. Its hero Will cannot use magic, but wields a sword instead of a wand in his bid to reach the ranks of the Magia Vander mages.

In this season, Will and Lihanna and the top students of their year are ambushed by a mysterious mage during dungeon training, and then head into the exit exam. The genres are action, adventure, drama and fantasy. Tatsuya Yoshihara is chief director, Hideaki Nakano directs, and a third season is on record as the follow-up.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like school fantasy with a hero who goes against the usual formula, plus plenty of fights. As this is a sequel, watch season 1 of Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria first so Will's promise to Elfaria makes sense.
