The production team behind Ranma 1/2 Season 3 revealed a new key visual, additional cast members and an official premiere date on July 26, 2026.

The five newly confirmed cast members are Masako Nozawa as the Grand Master, head of the Fighting Tea Ceremony School Daimonji-ryu and grandmother of Sentaro Daimonji; Jun Fukuyama as Sentaro Daimonji, heir to the school; and Minami Tanaka as Tsubasa Kurenai, a costume-obsessed former classmate of Ukyo Kuonji who openly confesses her feelings for her. The roles played by Mayumi Tanaka and Saori Hayami have not been disclosed, with the staff keeping them under wraps to build anticipation.

Season 3 will premiere in Japan on October 3 on the NTV channel at 24:55 JST (effectively around 12:55 a.m. on October 4), followed by an exclusive Netflix stream. Konosuke Uda continues directing at MAPPA, a role he has held since the first season. Returning chief animation directors Yoshiko Saito and Kosuke Kawamura are joined by Riko Kaneda and Haruki Miura. Masahiro Kurio remains the lead animator, joined by Atsuko Ishida, a key animator on the original 1989 Ranma 1/2 anime, and Yoshihiro Takeda.
The reboot's first season premiered in October 2024, with Season 2 following in October 2025, both airing on NTV before streaming exclusively on Netflix under the same model as Season 3. You can find more on our latest news and Anime pages.
