Dandadan is Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga adapted by Science SARU, directed by Fūga Yamashiro (in his directorial debut). It follows Momo Ayase, who believes in ghosts, and Ken “Okarun” Takakura, who believes in aliens; after a bet, they discover both are real. Momo gains psychic powers while Okarun is cursed and gains supernatural abilities.

Distribution and achievements
The series streams globally on Netflix and Crunchyroll, with the English dub on Adult Swim’s Toonami in the US from July 2025. Season 1 topped Netflix’s most-watched anime list for late 2024 with over 19.6 million views worldwide.
