What do the two fighters bring?
SNK has just released a trailer for each character. According to the release, both use their own moves, animations and special intros, and fit into the game’s existing systems. According to Gematsu, this is the first time the game releases two DLC characters at once, and they are independent fighters rather than variants of each other.
Each gets their own Arcade Mode story. They also share a story in EOST (Episodes of South Town), the game’s solo RPG-style mode, where they set out to rescue Rock after Krauser kidnaps him.
How are they voiced?
The Japanese version keeps the anime’s cast: Yu Hayashi voices Mikey and Katsuya Fukunishi voices Draken. In English, Aleks Le voices Mikey and Sean Chiplock voices Draken.
The Switch 2 version and the schedule
According to Gematsu, the game gets a digital Switch 2 version on October 22, 2026, the same day the two characters arrive, with a physical release in Japan expected January 21, 2027. Season 3 continues with Laocorn and one final fighter yet to be announced. In OtaHub’s view, prices for the DLC and Season Pass are not in the sources read, so it is too early to say whether buying them separately is worthwhile.
OtaHub’s take
Two characters releasing together is fairly unusual compared with the game’s one-fighter-a-month rhythm. For Tokyo Revengers anime fans, it is a chance to play Mikey and Draken with their own moves. For fighting game players, what matters is whether the two feel smooth and balanced, and OtaHub will wait for hands-on play before judging.
If you are following the anime, Tokyo Revengers: Santen Sensou-hen has been on air since October 2.
