Overview
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a 2.5D fighting game from SNK, released on 24/4/2025 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. According to Wikipedia, the developer is KOF Studio and the publisher is SNK. SNK's official page says the Steam and Epic Games Store versions are digital only, while PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch 2 have both digital and physical editions.
OtaHub's take
The game keeps growing through DLC "seasons", each adding characters through a Season Pass. Per SNK, Season Pass 3 costs 19.99 USD and has a character schedule: Rick Strowd is out, Duck King in August, Kim Kaphwan in September, Mikey and Draken on 22/10/2026, Laocorn in November and one unrevealed character in December. SNK notes the schedule may change without notice.
Mikey (Manjiro Sano) and Draken (Ken Ryuguji) come from Ken Wakui's manga Tokyo Revengers and arrive together on 22/10/2026. According to DashFight, it is the first time the game releases two DLC characters at once. On the same day the Switch 2 digital version launches: the Standard Edition at 19.99 USD and the Starter Edition at 29.99 USD (base game plus Season Passes 1 to 3). A physical Switch 2 Starter Edition is listed for 21/1/2027, but SNK says that date applies to Japan only, with pricing and other regions still to be announced.
Verdict
A good fit for fans of fighters that are easy to pick up and often feature guests from manga and other games. If you are waiting on Switch 2, 22/10/2026 is the date to remember; anyone who wants the disc has to wait for details outside Japan.
