What is in the collection?
According to RPGSite, the collection is split into three bundles. HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, plus HD cutscene compilations of 358/2 Days and Re:coded. HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue includes Dream Drop Distance HD, the χ Back Cover film and 0.2 Birth by Sleep. The third is Kingdom Hearts III with the Re Mind DLC.
All three are sold separately digitally, while the full collection has both physical and digital editions. HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX also gets a native version on the original Switch.

Bonuses and the demo
Digital pre-orders came with an in-game Keyblade depending on platform: Long Night on Switch 2, Midnight Blue on PS5 and Phantom Green on Xbox Series X|S. Digital pre-orders on PS5 and Xbox also got 48-hour early access. Owners of the Switch Cloud version, PS4 version or Xbox One version get 50% off new digital versions. Only Switch Cloud save data transfers to Switch 2; other platforms do not support save transfers.
Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind has a free demo on Switch 2 in two parts: from the start to the early Olympus world (save data carries over) and from the start to the middle of the Toy Box world (it does not).
OtaHub’s take
For newcomers this is the tidiest way into the series, because Kingdom Hearts’ story is famously tangled and spread over many systems. One bundle saves you hunting for old versions, but be ready: playing the full set takes many dozens of hours.
Watch the save data rule too: only players coming from the Switch Cloud version can bring progress to Switch 2, while PS4 and Xbox One players start over. If you already own the games on an older console, the 50% discount is the main reason to upgrade.
