Overview

Azur Promilia is an open-world creature-taming RPG from Manjuu, the studio behind Azur Lane. You play a Starborn arriving on the continent of Promilia, a land of many civilizations, magic and strange creatures, and bond with companions called Kibo. It is planned for PS5, PC, iOS and Android, with no Xbox or Switch plans according to Dexerto.

OtaHub's take

According to Dexerto, combat follows the Genshin Impact model with character switching and elemental reactions, while creatures fight, serve as mounts and help on the farm, close to Palworld. Other descriptions mention crafting, building and farming in a high-freedom world. It is a free-to-play game with gacha.

On release timing, nothing official has been announced. Some Asian iOS storefronts list 31 December 2026, but that is only an App Store placeholder, not a date from the publisher. Pre-registration is open, and milestone rewards have been revealed in some regions. A release date for the version aimed at Japan, the US and Europe is still unannounced.

Verdict

it suits players who like a Genshin and Palworld mix and want to see Manjuu step from ship games into an open world. Confirmed: platforms, gameplay direction and the free-to-play gacha model. Not confirmed: the official launch date, regional schedules and how heavy the gacha will be. Do not treat 31 December as a sure date.
