Overview

Kill Ao (KILL BLUE) adapts Tadatoshi Fujimaki's manga, is produced by CUE, runs 12 episodes and began airing on 11/4/2026. Juuzou Oogami is a legendary hitman who has never failed an assignment. After wiping out a powerful organization, he is stung by a mysterious wasp and collapses, then wakes up in the body of a 13-year-old boy despite being 39.

OtaHub's take

His boss delivers a new order: use that body to infiltrate a middle school. He now faces a school life full of colorful classmates and looming danger. The genre is action comedy. Yasunori Ide directs, Hiro Kaburagi supervises and handles series composition, and a second season is on record.

Verdict

It suits viewers who like action comedy built on a role reversal, where a seasoned assassin has to live as a student. This is the opening part, so you can watch right away.
