Maebashi Witches: Majo Minarai no Emoemories

Overview

Maebashi Witches: Majo Minarai no Emoemories is a compilation film of the Maebashi Witches anime series, produced by Sunrise. It falls under drama, music, mahou shoujo, and supernatural genres, and is an original creation rather than an adaptation of a manga or novel. It is a single film screening from 23/10/2026.

OtaHub's take

Junichi Yamamoto directs, Nozomi Tachibana handles character design based on the original designs by Yuu Inami, and Naoko Akusawa is art director. As a compilation, it condenses the television content, so it depends on the original series rather than being a wholly new story.

Verdict

It suits viewers who want to revisit Maebashi Witches quickly on the big screen, or those who watched the TV series and want a refresher. Newcomers can treat the film as a quick entry point, though the original series remains the fuller experience.
