OtaHub's take
Wim Strauss is a buffing caster kicked out of his party because his talent wounded the leader's pride. A new chance comes when childhood friend Heidemarie invites him to join the A-rank party Nachtlibelle. It is the familiar underrated-support-mage setup of light novels, so what to watch for is the pacing and how the show portrays his real strength.
Hideki Okamoto directs, Takao Yoshioka writes the scripts, Yu Murakami designs the characters, and Yuki Hayashi, Luke Standridge and Asa Taylor compose. Reiji Kawashima voices Wim and Hana Hishikawa voices Heidemarie; Akeno Watanabe, Masaaki Mizunaka and Wakana Kuramochi play Camilla, Chronos and Rita Heinkes. Anime News Network lists Crunchyroll and Netflix as streamers; exact dates per platform are not announced.
Verdict
It suits fans of isekai and party-based fantasy where an underrated character proves his worth. If you are tired of that formula, there is no rush. English readers can try Seven Seas' light novel while waiting for the show.
