At the Anime Expo 2026 Showcase held on July 3, 2026 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Crunchyroll officially confirmed it will stream Magical Buffs: The Support Caster Is Stronger Than He Realized! and Fate Rewinder, along with a wave of other titles.
Magical Buffs adapts the light novel by Haka Tokura and Eiri Shirai. It follows support mage Wim Strauss, expelled from his guild for allegedly overshadowing its leader, who gets a second chance when his childhood friend invites him to join the A-rank guild Nachtibelle. The anime is set to premiere in January 2027.
Fate Rewinder is a sci-fi mystery series centered on people equipped with the "Retry Eye," an ocular implant that lets its wearer rewind time. The story follows Chrono, a new Rewinder who must master the ability to save people who died tragically. Fate Rewinder is set to premiere in April 2027.
Both titles were part of a larger wave of announcements at the showcase, which also revealed the Solo Leveling film, Ghost of Tsushima, Kagurabachi and Overgeared.
