Overview
Strinova is iDreamSky's free-to-play third-person tactical shooter, built on Unreal Engine 4 according to Wikipedia. It fully launched in China on February 1, 2024 and globally on PC on November 21, 2024. Its signature is Stringification, which lets characters switch between a 3D form and a paper-thin 2D form that can stick to walls and glide.
OtaHub's take
According to Wikipedia, the game has 24 characters (called Superstrings) across five roles, Controller, Duelist, Initiator, Sentinel and Support, plus 29 maps and modes such as Demolition, Team Arena, Escort and Team Deathmatch. The international version is free to play and sells cosmetics and DLC bundles; on the Vietnamese Steam page each DLC bundle costs about 833,000 VND (as OtaHub saw on October 13, 2026).
According to Gzone's official Facebook page, the publisher will launch a version made for players in Vietnam on PC from October 23, 2026, with pre-registration and pre-download from October 13 and play-testing from October 20. Details on servers, accounts and language for this version have not been announced; the international Steam page has no Vietnamese.
Verdict
Strinova suits players who like round-based tactical shooters in the Valorant vein but want an anime look and the paper-form mechanic. You can try it when the Vietnam version opens, but wait for Gzone to explain accounts and payments before spending money.
