Keen Games has scheduled Enshrouded 1.0 for October 15, 2026, with the Steam release at 10 PM Vietnam time. Existing PC Early Access owners receive the update without buying the game again.
Enshrouded combines action RPG combat, survival and base building in Embervale, a land threatened by a dangerous fog. Players can explore alone or in groups, gather resources and reshape terrain to build their own settlements.
Do Early Access players need to start again?
Existing PC saves remain usable in 1.0 and will be converted to a new format. Updating does not require deleting a character or rebuilding a base from scratch.
Keen Games recommends a fresh playthrough because the world and opening hours have changed substantially. It remains optional, so players invested in an existing character or construction can retain their progress.
Existing characters will have their skill trees reset when first loaded in 1.0. Reassign those points before returning to difficult encounters.
What does version 1.0 add?
Cinder’s Cradle opens in northern Embervale, taking players from lava fields and ruins to floating islands built by the Ancients. The character level cap rises to 50, while equipment can be upgraded to level 55.
Mages gain nine spell types, with eternal spell variants available in the late game to remove the need to carry additional charges. The update also adjusts wand combat and adds enemies, including a new faction in Cinder’s Cradle.
Sparkworks lets builders connect an action to a response in their creations. Pulling a lever can open a door, for example, while stepping on a plate can trigger a trap. Those interactions can form puzzles and challenges to share with other players.

Can PC and PS5 players play together?
Cross-platform play will not be available at launch. Keen Games is developing it, so groups split between PC and PS5 should account for that limitation before buying to play together.
PC supports up to 16 players. The PS5 listing supports up to eight online players and requires PS Plus for online multiplayer.
What is the Steam Vietnam price?
Steam Vietnam listed the PC game at 530,000 VND when checked on the morning of October 15, 2026. This is the regional price rather than a conversion from the US listing. There is no official Vietnamese language option.
Steam specifies at least 16 GB RAM and 60 GB of storage. Keen Games also reports improved distant building detail and reduced memory requirements in 1.0. These are developer-announced changes, with actual performance dependent on hardware and settings.
