All-Star Tank Carnival combines tank combat and Ōarai exploration
D3Publisher describes All-Star Tank Carnival as a tank action game from the Dream Tank Match team. Players drive their tanks into battle and can target enemy treads to stop opponents moving.
Between battles, you can explore Ōarai with Miho. Talking to characters around town opens original story quests and matches. The official website also lists online tank battles for up to 10 players.
Bokosuka Rush is a separate mobile defense game
G Holdings announced Bokosuka Rush on October 9, 2026. Miho and Alice visit the Boko Museum and enter a tank simulator, where even Boko appears as an enemy.
Players combine tanks and crews to deal with waves of enemies. Collecting and upgrading characters improves tank performance. This defense setup differs from the direct tank controls in All-Star Tank Carnival.
When can you play them?
All-Star Tank Carnival is planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan in 2027. Bokosuka Rush is in development for smartphones. Exact launch dates, prices, supported languages and international release plans still need further announcements.
Follow the All-Star Tank Carnival website and the Bokosuka Rush website for release news and any future preregistration details.
OtaHub’s take
The games share a cast, but their appeal is different. The Switch 2 title offers direct tank action and a chance to explore the anime’s setting. Bokosuka Rush is the option to watch if you prefer assembling and upgrading a crew.
For players outside Japan, language support should be checked before buying or registering. A Japanese release window does not establish availability in every region.
