Mafia: The Old Country, the prequel to Hangar 13, set in early 20th-century Sicily, has just received its first paid content package. Man of Honor officially launches today, August 14, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, for $10 and requires players to already own the original game. This is the first expansion of the Mafia universe since The Old Country launched, and also the first time the series delves into the past of one of its most beloved villains.
Plot: Enzo Favara encounters young Ennio Salieri
Man of Honor includes 2 new story chapters, takes place in the early stages of Enzo Favara's service to the Torrisi family. The setting is Sicily in the winter of 1905: Enzo has proven his loyalty as a reliable warrior, and the Don assigns him and Cesare the task of assisting Ennio Salieri, a recently released \"man of honor\" seeking to reclaim what rightfully belongs to him. For long-time Mafia fans, the name Salieri is familiar: he is the powerful Don of the Salieri family in Lost Heaven in the original Mafia and its remake, Mafia: Definitive Edition. Man of Honor allows gamers to witness a younger, more "rough" version of Salieri, still respected in Sicily but now having to fend for himself in the family's affairs.

Extended Free Ride content: Salieri's Challenges and Jobs
Besides the two story chapters, owning Man of Honor also unlocks a series of exclusive missions in Free Ride mode, where players are free to explore the Sicilian countryside or undertake recurring challenges separate from the main storyline. Salieri, currently hiding in a warehouse in Porto Almaro smuggling goods, will offer players two types of contracts:
- Challenges: Harder versions of existing Free Ride challenges, requiring significantly more skill
- Jobs: Completely new mission types, hunt for hidden treasure, tow high-value carts to Salieri, or transport fragile goods without damaging them
- Map of Valle Dorata Added new locations and collectibles
- Wanted Posters collected, using members of the Hangar 13 development team as portraits, a familiar tradition of the series
- New Stunt Jumps allow you to fly over tracks in a classic early 20th century car
Exclusive weapons, Charms and costumes
Completing Salieri's Jobs and Challenges will yield Dinari, in-game currency, which can be exchanged for exclusive DLC-only outfits, Charms, weapons, vehicles and horses. One of the most notable weapons is Rimbalzu throwing knife, has the ability to bounce to a second target, allowing it to silently defeat multiple enemies with just one throw, a game design detail that favors a "hands-on" feeling rather than absolute historical authenticity, according to the development team.
