Classroom of the Elite Season 4

Overview

Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e (Classroom of the Elite) season 4 adapts Shougo Kinugasa's light novels, is produced by Lerche, runs 16 episodes and began airing on 1/4/2026. This season opens the first semester of the second year for Ayanokouji and his classmates at the Advanced Nurturing High School.

OtaHub's take

The first special exam pairs the new first-years with the second-years in a written test, and only the second-years face expulsion if their team does poorly. It seems one of the new first-years also comes from the White Room. The series is a psychological drama, with Noriyuki Nomata directing and Kou Shigenobu handling series composition.

Verdict

It suits viewers who enjoy battles of wits and school mind games, but you need to have seen the earlier seasons, especially the directly preceding third season, because plot and relationships carry over. The data lists a fifth season as the follow-up.
