Overview
Hào Khí Đông A is a 3D MMORPG from studio GihOt (GihOt JSC, part of the GOSU group) that draws on Vietnamese history and culture, especially the Trần dynasty and its three wars against the Mongol Yuan. The studio's page lists the game as free on Google Play and the App Store, with a “Coming Soon” status. It appears among the Vietnamese culture projects at Vietnam GameVerse 2026.
OtaHub's take
According to VnExpress's GameHub page, the game has 3D graphics in a traditional Vietnamese palette, AI-driven NPCs players can talk to directly, and a “Diên Hồng Conference” feature that lets guilds vote on the direction of their server. The team follows a “Slow Money” approach: only gacha for cosmetics (0.1% rate) and a Battle Pass, with no power for sale. GihOt's earlier Silkroad Origin Mobile won Vietnamese Game of the Year at Vietnam Game Awards 2025.
The release date is only an expected 12 June 2027 on GameHub, not an official launch announcement. No test schedule has been announced, and the GameHub page does not state a platform (the studio page says mobile).
Verdict
a Vietnamese-history MMORPG worth watching mainly for its non-pay-to-win plan, which is rare in the genre. Wait for the first test phase and see how the AI NPCs and the Diên Hồng Conference work in practice before expecting too much.
