Overview

Kujima Utaeba Ie Hororo (Kujima: Why Sing, When You Can Warble?) adapts Akira Konno's manga, is produced by Studio Hibari, runs 12 episodes and began airing on 9/4/2026. In the fall of his first year of junior high school, Arata Kouda encounters a strange thing, and that is the starting point of this home comedy.

OtaHub's take

A mysterious creature who calls himself Kujima brings new life to the Konohda family, where the atmosphere is slightly tense out of concern for the eldest son, a ronin student preparing for entrance exams. Kujima speaks normal language and eats the same food as humans, or insects. The genres are comedy, fantasy and slice of life. Noriyuki Nomata directs and Yasunori Yamada handles series composition.

Verdict

It suits viewers who like gentle home comedy, quirky ideas and a non-human character who drives the laughs. This is the opening part, with no related entries on record, so you can watch right away.
