League of Legends is Riot Games' 5v5 MOBA for PC. Two teams of five control champions and face off on the Summoner's Rift map.

On October 14, 2026, Riot said the League Classic mode, introduced in July 2026 to replay early LoL with the original champions, items and systems, will end its current run in January 2027. Riot aims to bring the mode back, likely as an event, but has not given a time.
Verdict
it suits players who like team games that need coordination and strategy. New players should get used to normal games before ranked.
