What Is the Best MOBA on Mobile?

The best mobile MOBA for you depends on the people you play with, the combat you enjoy and how well it works on your phone.

If your friends already play Arena of Valor and you want to join them, that is a clear reason to start there. If you know League of Legends champions, Wild Rift may be closer to your interests. Asking which mobile MOBA is best becomes more useful once you consider who you will play with, which characters appeal to you and the phone you own.

The four options considered here are Garena Liên Quân Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Onmyoji Arena. Each has distinguishing features, so choose by your needs rather than treating this as an absolute ranking.

Arena of Valor makes sense when your existing friends play it

Liên Quân Mobile is Garena’s Arena of Valor release in Vietnam. Alongside 5v5, its listing describes modes including 3v3, 1v1 and an auto-chess mode. If your friends play it, you can learn roles, pick heroes and practise coordination with them rather than starting alone in a different game.

The iOS listing includes Vietnamese among its languages, making it an option to consider if you want Vietnamese skill descriptions and menus. What matters is whether you have people to play with and enjoy the available modes. Store rating counts do not tell you the current active player population or how quickly you will find a match.

Wild Rift is an option for players drawn to League of Legends

League of Legends: Wild Rift brings League champions and 5v5 MOBA play to phones with controls built for mobile. Familiar champions and abilities give former PC players a reason to consider it, although the touchscreen controls and pace still require adjustment.

The Vietnamese listing names VNG as the seller and includes Vietnamese among its languages. The iOS version currently requires iOS 15 or later, higher than the other iOS releases in the table below. Check compatibility before downloading on an older iPhone. The operating-system requirement alone does not establish which graphics settings will run smoothly.

Mobile Legends is another 5v5 option with Vietnamese support

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang also centres on 5v5 battles with three lanes and roles such as tank, mage, marksman and support. One clearly described feature is the ability to buy equipment anywhere on the map. This lets you buy items while moving or holding a position on the map.

In Vietnam’s App Store, the app is listed as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang FT, supplied by Valar Technology. Its approximately 344 MB iOS download is the smallest of these four listings at the time checked. That describes the store package rather than proving that it suits every low-end phone or runs better than the alternatives.

The listing advertises ten-second matchmaking and ten-minute battles. Treat those as the publisher’s description of its intended pace, rather than guaranteed times for every match.

Onmyoji Arena offers Shikigami and Japanese-style art

Onmyoji Arena uses Shikigami as its playable characters and draws on Japanese-style imagery. Its description outlines four Shikigami skills plus two additional spells, giving players who enjoy learning ability sets a feature to consider. Choose it because its characters and team-building appeal to you rather than because its store star rating is higher.

The iOS release supplied by DZOGAME has an approximately 3.96 GB download package. Its App Store language list currently names English, Italian, Japanese and Chinese, without listing Vietnamese. If Vietnamese menus are essential, check the language support of the version you intend to play before downloading.

Check your phone before choosing

For iPhone users, this table provides an initial compatibility check. The figures come from Vietnam’s App Store on November 3, 2026, and apply only to the linked iOS releases.

Leave additional storage for data and updates. Android players should check the requirements for the Android release in the relevant store. Smoothness also depends on the device and graphics settings, while connection quality needs to be tested on the network you normally use.

Which one should you try first?

If you have no strong preference, ask what your friends play first. Joining them gives you people to consult while learning a new role or practising coordination. For solo players, Wild Rift is worth considering if you like League’s world, while Onmyoji Arena is an option to explore if Shikigami and Japanese-style art attract you.

For Liên Quân or Mobile Legends, start with whichever hero roster appeals to you more. Spend a few matches checking the controls, connection and settings that suit your phone. That gives you a practical basis for choosing a game to stay with.

If you are moving from Pokémon UNITE, note that it has announced the end of service at 7:00 a.m. Vietnam time on March 23, 2027, for both Switch and mobile. See our Pokémon UNITE service closure information for its separate schedule. All four alternatives above have worlds and characters distinct from Pokémon, so character preferences still matter when switching.
