Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru

Overview

Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru, known in English as Kunon the Sorcerer Can See, is a 13-episode ONA anime from the studio Platinum Vision, released from 4/1/2026. It adapts the light novel written by Umikaze Minamino, and it is directed by Hideaki Ooba, with series composition by Yuki Enatsu.

OtaHub's take

Kunon is a young man who cannot see and sets out to create new eyes with water magic. After just five months of learning sorcery he surpassed his own mentor, and he keeps honing his talent to attempt something no one has done. The synopsis frames it as a story about a blind genius who opens up the world through curiosity about magic. It is action, adventure and fantasy.

Verdict

A fit for viewers who like fantasy built around a gifted protagonist and the study of magic rather than large wars. This is the first part and the data lists no prequel, so you can start from episode one.
