Overview
The Ice Blade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II, originally Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu II, is the second season of the series adapted from Nana Mikoshiba's light novels with illustrations by Riko Korie. According to the synopsis, rival schools compete in the Magicks War while a darker threat looms over Ray and his friends. Masahiro Takata both directs and handles series composition, Mariko Kawamoto designs the characters and Yoshie Wasano is the art director. It continues Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu, so the first season is the place to begin.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like magic fantasy with plenty of battles, who have seen season one and want to keep following Ray. Newcomers should watch the first season before this one.
