Himass still appears in the PGS 10 promotional video despite Krafton’s permanent competitive ban on the Vietnamese player.
Where does Himass appear?
The promotional sequence for PUBG Global Series 10, or PGS 10, shows Himass in jersey number 16 before a wall covered in kill tally marks. The supplied frames include a rear view and a close-up of the Vietnamese player. These two frames show him remaining part of the event’s promotional material.

PGS 10 is airing on PUBG Esports APAC with Vietnamese commentary. Himass’s inclusion is notable because his competitive ban was announced on September 23, before the event began.
What sanction did Himass receive?
In its official sanction notice, Krafton announced permanent PUBG: Battlegrounds account bans for Himass and TanVuu on September 23, 2026, alongside exclusion from PUBG Esports events it organizes or approves. Krafton said they used outside-match information to make decisions during PUBG Asia Stars 2026. Both players have a process to explain their position.
PUBG Asia Stars 2026 brought together streamers from six Asian regions across special game modes. The incident at this event led to sanctions also covering the PUBG Esports competition system.
The sanction explains the attention paid to a report about Himass in event promotion. It does not, by itself, establish whether the organizer has permission to use his image. That question requires information about the relevant agreement and the footage’s origin.
When does PGS 10 take place?
PUBG Esports scheduled PGS 10 for October 14–18, 2026. It is the opening tournament of Circuit 4, the last circuit of this year’s PUBG Global Series.
| Date | Stage |
|---|---|
| October 14 | Group Stage |
| October 15 | Winners Stage |
| October 16 | Survival Stage, deciding the remaining final places |
| October 17–18 | Final Stage |
An October 12 update says Team Flash replaced GAM The Expendables following GAM’s withdrawal from Circuit 4. Team Flash was selected based on PVS Phase 1 placement under the existing qualification criteria. The notice does not attribute the withdrawal to the sanctions against Himass and TanVuu.
OtaHub’s take
A banned player remaining in an event promotion gives viewers a reason to question how the organizer uses his image. However, appearing in a video does not establish that the sanction has changed. Competitive eligibility and image use are separate issues, so a promotional scene cannot demonstrate that Himass is allowed to return.
Frequently asked questions
Would appearing in a promotional video mean Himass can compete again?
That cannot be inferred from a scene. A video does not replace a notice changing a player’s sanction or eligibility.
