Every time a new banner goes up, free-to-play players ask the same thing: roll or skip? Community player Trần Khắc Minh wrote a guide answering it, covering the T-Dolls F2P players should roll across all 30 global banners of Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium (called Lưu Đày in Vietnam). He posted it in the community Facebook group on August 17, 2026. OtaHub rebuilt it as compact tables, checked elements, roles and release dates against IOP Wiki, and added notes for players on the Vietnam server.
Quick facts: the F2P plan in one table
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Default direction | Commit to one Hydro or Burn team instead of spreading pulls across elements |
| SR worth raising | Nemesis, Cheeta, Ksenia, Sharkry |
| Standard SSR worth raising | Tololo and Qiongjiu |
| Top rolls | Vector (banner 8), Springfield (banner 11), Loreley (banner 28) |
| Pull system | Standard banner guarantees an SSR by pull 80; limited banners use a 50/50 with a 160-pull worst case (IOP Wiki, global server) |
| Caveat | One player's view; the order follows the global server |
What do V and R mean?
V0 to V6 count the copies of a T-Doll: V0 is your first copy, V6 is all seven copies and unlocks every Neural Fortification level. The notation comes from the Chinese version, where the levels are called “vertebrae”, and the Vietnamese client may label them differently. R is the level of a signature weapon, usually R1 to R5, raised by feeding it duplicates of the same weapon (Calibration). OtaHub could not find a source that says clearly whether R1 means “owns the weapon” or “calibrated once”, so in this article R1 follows the author's usage: you have that doll's signature weapon. And “V0 for the Key” means you only need the first copy because the value lies in her Key.
Principles for choosing T-Dolls F2P players should roll
- Pick one direction and finish it. The author recommends Hydro or Burn. If you go Corrosion, go all in instead of adding one doll per element.
- Supports are worth more than you think. The three names he stresses most, Vector, Springfield and Loreley, are all supports, while most limited DPS are marked as skip or borrow.
- Do not spend limited tickets on standard-banner dolls. Tololo and Qiongjiu come from the standard banner.
- Some dolls only deserve a V0, then a rerun if you want more.
- Do not chase every banner. The pulls you save on “skip” banners are what let you get Springfield, Vector or Loreley when they arrive.
If you are new, the starter banner guarantees one SSR within 50 pulls, and its list includes both Tololo and Qiongjiu, which matches the advice in OtaHub's beginner and reroll guide.
SR and standard SSR dolls worth raising
Among SR dolls, the author keeps only four. Nemesis applies a Defense-down debuff, enough for the early game. Cheeta is an all-round support through the mid game; IOP Wiki lists her as Burn. Ksenia supports the fire team, and a mono-fire team is the cheapest build for F2P in his view. Sharkry self-buffs as a fire DPS and is described as an “SSR in an SR body” (IOP Wiki: Burn, Sentinel). The other SR dolls are not worth the investment.
Among standard SSR dolls, only Tololo (Hydro) and Qiongjiu (Burn) count as long-term picks. Their elements line up with the two team directions in the guide, a cross-check OtaHub added rather than something the author said.

Banner by banner: roll or skip
Each “banner” here is a cycle of about three weeks, usually with two or three T-Dolls. OtaHub checked the order of banners 1 to 25 against IOP Wiki and it matches. From banner 26 on, the order rests on each doll's global release date (Phaetusa in May 2026, Basti and Loreley in June 2026, Cheyanne and Liushih in July 2026). The V and R levels are the author's suggestions.
Banners 1–10 (December 2024 to July 2025)
| Banner | Consider rolling | Skip or wait |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Suomi V1, if you want easy auto (defensive support, Freeze) | Ullrid |
| 2 | None | Makiatto (ice, costly team), Tololo via limited tickets |
| 3 | None | Daiyan (unless Physical), Mosin-Nagant |
| 4 | Dushevnaya V0 for her Key, can wait for a rerun | Suomi rerun |
| 5 | Centaureissi V0, a filler support for fire | Ullrid |
| 6 | Klukai, if you commit to Corrosion, go all in | Makiatto |
| 7 | Mechty V0, if you play Corrosion or borrow a Klukai | Daiyan |
| 8 | Vector V1 + R1, V2 once you want the Expansion Key (Burn, core fire support) | Dushevnaya |
| 9 | Yoohee, only for heavy Physical | Centaureissi |
| 10 | Klukai rerun, only for heavy Corrosion | Zhaohui |
Banners 11–20 (July 2025 to January 2026)
| Banner | Consider rolling | Skip or wait |
|---|---|---|
| 11 (half anniversary) | Springfield (Hydro support): V2R1 as pure support, V6R1 is the “can't go wrong” choice. Mechty V0 if you lack her | Peritya, unless you want a V0 for her Key for a future DPS |
| 12 | Vector V1R1, or one more copy to V2 for the Expansion Key, otherwise wait for a rerun | Qiuhua (needs V6, so borrow) |
| 13 | None | Nikketa (Hydro DPS, heavy investment; F2P players are usually still recovering after Springfield) |
| 14 | Andoris V0, only for Electric | Belka |
| 15 | Jiangyu V0, if you play or borrow Electric | Springfield rerun: a second chance if you missed banner 11 |
| 16 | Florence V0, an optional water support | Qiuhua rerun |
| 17 | Lind V0, only if you need her Key for a DPS | Nikketa rerun if you can borrow her |
| 18 (1st anniversary) | Only for Electric: Leva, Lenna V1, Andoris V0 if missing | Skip all if you are not Electric |
| 19 | Jiangyu, only for Electric and if missing | Robella (ice), Belka |
| 20 | Lewis (Burn, MG): V6 for Hydro, V0 is enough for fire; V6R1 encouraged, a free gold weapon can stand in | Florence, Peritya |
Banners 21–30 (January 29, 2026 to about August 2026)
| Banner | Consider rolling | Skip or wait |
|---|---|---|
| 21 | Vector V2 for the Expansion Key | Sakura (a “half-baked” DPS), Lind |
| 22 | None | Alva (ice support) |
| 23 | Voymastina (Physical, melee), only with heavy investment | Robella, Makiatto |
| 24 | Lainie V0 (supports only Voymastina); Klukai V6 only for Corrosion; Lewis V0 owners raise to V6 or get a weapon | None |
| 25 | None | Helen, Leva, Sakura |
| 26 | Phaetusa, only for Corrosion | Skip if not Corrosion |
| 27 | Basti V0, replaces Mechty if you borrow Klukai | None |
| 28 | Loreley V2R1 (Burn support; the author calls her essential) | None |
| 29 | Liushih (Hydro, summoner): V1R1 on a low budget, V6R1 if you saved deep; the author advises V1R1 | Cheyanne V0, then wait for a rerun |
| 30 | Sextans V0R1, or skip to save pulls | Skip to save pulls for Groza Alter (OTs-14) |
Two notes on banner 30: Sextans, the early-game antagonist, is now a playable melee Support doll whose limited banner ran from August 6 to 26, 2026 on the global server. The “Groza alter” the author mentions is OTs-14, released with the Chiral Redundancy event (global, August 2026): a multi-element doll that benefits from her teammates’ element. That is why the author advises taking Liushih at V1R1 and saving pulls.
Team directions and which dolls matter
Elements below come from IOP Wiki; the recommendations and costs are the author's.
| Direction | Relevant T-Dolls | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hydro (with Burn) | Springfield, Liushih, Tololo, Nikketa (Hydro); Lewis, Loreley (Burn) | The preferred route. Note this team actually mixes Hydro and Burn |
| Burn (fire) | Vector, Loreley, Lewis, Qiongjiu, Sharkry, Cheeta | Cheapest for F2P, usable from SR dolls onward |
| Corrosion | Klukai, Mechty, Basti, Phaetusa, Peritya | Only worth it if you go all in |
| Electric | Leva, Andoris, Lenna, Jiangyu | Not advised without heavy investment or borrowing |
| Physical | Voymastina, Lainie, Yoohee, Cheyanne | High cost, only if you like it |
| Freeze (ice) | Makiatto, Suomi, Alva, Robella, Helen | Placed in the expensive, skip group |
Why are supports worth the pulls? The cover and Stability section of OtaHub's Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium review explains it well. Once your team is chosen, attachments are the next step, covered in the attachment and gold chip guide.
OtaHub's take
The best thing about the original post is that it answers the question F2P players actually have: not “who is strongest” but “who deserves my pulls”. Across all 30 banners only a few decisions are truly heavy: Vector at banner 8, Springfield at 11 and Loreley at 28. The rest is picking an element and saving, which is what low spenders tend to do backwards out of fear of missing out.
Keep in mind that this is one player's opinion, built on the global banner list. The meta moves with every new doll, such as OTs-14 in August 2026, and the Vietnam server opened on August 27, 2026, so it may not run at the same pace. See our Vietnam launch report for background. And if you love a character for her looks or story, that is a perfectly valid reason to roll.
FAQ
How many free pulls does each patch give on average?
OtaHub could not find a reliable source for a per-patch average, so we are not giving a number. What can be verified is that the global 1.5 Anniversary event (June 25 to August 5, 2026) offered more than 100 free pulls, according to PocketGamer. Rewards on the Vietnam server may differ, so check the in-game notices.
Does Girls' Frontline 2 have PvP?
There is an asynchronous mode called Combat Exercise: you set a fixed team, and the AI plays it when someone challenges you. According to IOP Wiki, the ranked Military Simulation mode was removed after launch because it was hard to balance. The game is mostly PvE, so PvP is rarely a reason to roll.
Who is on the Corrosion team?
IOP Wiki lists Klukai, Mechty, Basti, Peritya and Phaetusa as Corrosion dolls. The author uses Klukai as the main DPS and Mechty or Basti as support, and only recommends this path if you commit fully. The original post does not spell out exact team slots, so ask the community for specifics.
Should I prioritize Springfield or OTs-14?
OTs-14 is Groza Alter, a limited SSR that reached the global server in August 2026. The author doesn't rate her in detail but advises saving pulls for her after banner 30. Springfield's value is already clear: a support that works in normal and hard content and gets an Expansion Key later. If you don't have Springfield yet, she is the safer pick; if you do, saving for OTs-14 makes more sense.
Which banner is the Vietnam server on?
OtaHub could not find a public source stating the current banner on Lưu Đày (launched August 27, 2026). Check the in-game notices, gf2.vn or the official fan page. The order in this article is the global one, so do not assume the Vietnam server runs at the same pace.
