OtaHub's take
The story sends Cloud and his allies into the last battle against Sephiroth as the planet faces destruction. Players explore a vast world with the Highwind airship, choosing landing points and parachuting into different regions. The playable cast is fuller this time, with two new members: Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine.
Alongside the familiar weapons, armour, skills and materia, Revelation introduces the FITS customisation system, adding class-based abilities and special outfits. Players with save data from Remake Intergrade and Rebirth receive bonus items including the Chocobo & Moogle and Phoenix Summon Materia. The game was shown further at Gamescom Opening Night Live on 25 August 2026.
