Overview
Flamecraft is a cozy strategy game for one to five players, adapted from the board game of the same name by Cardboard Alchemy. You play a Flamekeeper who helps artisan dragons find the right home in a small shopping district, and then lets the shops serve the townspeople. The digital version is developed by Monster Couch and launched on 17 September 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch.
OtaHub's take
Play revolves around gathering and managing resources, placing dragons in shops and upgrading them with enchantments to build chains of combined effects. According to the official description there are more than 70 animated dragons and 30 different shops. Every decision is a calculation, yet there is no violence and no countdown clock pushing you along.
Monster Couch is a familiar name to digital board game fans thanks to its Wingspan adaptation, and the music comes from the same composer as Wingspan. As OtaHub reported, the studio opened a free demo on every platform from 28 July 2026 before locking in a release date, a sensible approach for a cozy game that needs to be played by hand to show its appeal.
Verdict
Suits players who enjoy gentle strategy with short sessions, and Wingspan fans looking for a digital board game with a charming, low-pressure mood.
