Overview
Beast King War God Dandivine (Jyuō Mujin Dandivine) is an original TV anime, not an adaptation of a manga or light novel. Good Smile Company announced the project to mark its 25th anniversary, and it opens the company's "Gattaishin Series" (The God of Combined Series).
OtaHub's take
The story is set 20 years after the robot Dandivine defeated the mysterious Aposdoll. The world is at peace, and the toy maker Kasuga, which lived off Dandivine merchandise, has declined. When the Aposdoll return, high school student Gekiha Shijima is invited by his uncle, a former pilot, to take the controls of the giant robot.
