Overview
One Piece: Grand Gourmet is a restaurant management sim developed by Kairosoft and published by Bandai Namco. You help Sanji and the Straw Hat Pirates build and expand the newest branch of the Baratie, the floating restaurant known as Baratie Number Two. Kairosoft is best known for its pixel-art management games, and this is the first time One Piece has been done in that style, with more than 400 characters from the anime and manga.
OtaHub's take
The loop revolves around collecting ingredients, inventing new dishes with Sanji, decorating the restaurant and attracting characters as customers or staff. There are more than 200 decoration items inspired by places such as Whole Cake Island, and recipes built around Devil Fruit powers, for example Water-Water Meat BBQ and Sea King Penne Gorgonzola. Each character's tastes decide who becomes a regular. The Switch 2 version supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
The game launches worldwide on 23 October 2026 on Steam, the App Store and Google Play, while Switch and Switch 2 arrive a day earlier on 22 October according to the publisher's announcement. Several outlets list the price as 19.99 USD. A playable demo appeared at ONE PIECE DAY'26 on 22 and 23 August 2026. The sources do not say whether the game needs an internet connection, so OtaHub does not claim either way.
Verdict
this suits One Piece fans who enjoy seeing familiar characters in pixel form, and management-sim players who want a fresh theme from Kairosoft. Confirmed so far are the dates, the platform list and the cooking and decoration systems. Still unknown are how deep the management gets and whether there is extra paid content, so mobile players may want to wait for post-launch impressions.
