Punirunes Puni 4 is the fourth season of the Punirunes short anime, based on Takara Tomy's Punirunes toy line and produced by OLM in CGI. According to Anime News Network, the new season airs on TV Tokyo and affiliates at 9:15 a.m. on 4/10/2026 (Japan time), roughly 7:16 a.m. the same day in Vietnam. Spin Master streams an English-subtitled version on YouTube for North America.

The series follows squishy creatures called Punirunes and Yuka, a fourth-grade girl who loves soft things. This season moves to a new setting, "Puni School", with new characters Sanrun and Tsukurun voiced by the comedy duo Ganbareruya. Kentaro Yamaguchi directs, Gigaemon Ichikawa handles series composition and Sayuri Ichiishi designs the characters. The episode count has not been announced.

Verdict

It suits young children and parents who want gentle, cute animation. Older viewers should look elsewhere. It is season 4 but the content works as short standalone episodes, so you will not be lost jumping in here.
