Overview
Tensei shitara Ken deshita 2, titled Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 in English, is the second season of an adventure fantasy series adapted from Yuu Tanaka's light novels, centered on a protagonist reborn as a sword. Studio C2C produces it as an ONA. Each episode streams one week early on Abema from 1/10/2026, while the regular TV broadcast starts on 8/10/2026.
OtaHub's take
Shinji Ishihira directs, Takahiro Nagano handles series composition, and Satoshi Sakai and Rino Isago serve as action directors, a sensible lineup for an action and adventure show. The original character design is by Ruroo. This is a direct continuation of Tensei shitara Ken deshita, so the first season is the right starting point for anyone who has not watched it.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like action isekai with an adventure streak, especially those who finished the first season and want to keep following the hero. Newcomers should watch season one first.
