OtaHub's take
The story centers on two boys, Riliu and his best friend Jowy, members of a youth brigade of the Highland Kingdom, a military power in the Dunan region. They look up at the same starry skies and believe in the same future, yet are swept into the whirlpool of fate by war. Yuuzou Satou directs, Michihiro Tsuchiya handles series composition and Ryou Yamauchi designs the characters.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like war fantasy with depth in friendship and fate, as well as fans of the original game series who want to see it on screen. Those who have not played the games can still start from the beginning since this is a new anime.
