Unlike the familiar American towns of the series, Townfall takes players to St. Amelia, a fictional town in Scotland in 1996. The story follows Simon Ordell, who wakes in an unfamiliar place that gradually reveals frightening ties to his own past — in the psychological horror tradition of Silent Hill.
