Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has officially released Super Limit-Breaking Neo, its biggest DLC to date, on July 30, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, adding 33 playable characters spanning Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and Dragon Ball GT.

The centerpiece of the DLC is a new solo mode called Limit Breaker Journey, which lets players pick a favorite character and grow them stronger through battles against increasingly powerful opponents, customizing their stat growth to match their preferred playstyle. Bandai Namco also added four new Episode Battles, additional Extra Battles, and four entirely new stages.

On the combat side, Sparking Boost lets players in Sparking mode burn a large amount of Skill Stock and accept a temporary stat reduction in exchange for a major attack boost. Chain Blast is a new combo mechanic that lets players switch to a reserve ally after launching an opponent to continue the assault with a Blast attack.
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 will receive the DLC at a later, unannounced date. Sparking Zero successfully revived the Budokai Tenkaichi-style 3D arena fighter formula after years of dormancy, and the scale of Super Limit-Breaking Neo shows Bandai Namco is betting big on keeping the game alive long-term.
