Insomniac Games revealed a new story trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine at San Diego Comic-Con, confirming the game’s official launch date of September 15, 2026 on PS5.

The trailer reveals further plot details centered on the assassin organization The Hand and a confrontation between Logan and Jean Grey, continuing to build the mature, gritty tone of Insomniac’s first superhero project with a noticeably harder edge than its previous Spider-Man games.
Insomniac also officially announced its composer for the game’s score: David Fleming, known for work on The Last of Us, Jim Henson Idea Man, and Widow’s Bay. According to the studio, Fleming’s score carries major weight in the story, with cues and swells that shift dynamically alongside Logan’s brutal journey around the world. A track from the game has already been released for fans to hear, and the full soundtrack arrives on August 28, 2026.
The Comic-Con panel also showcased new official artwork for the game, capping off a heavy stretch of promotion ahead of its September launch. You can find more on our latest news and Gaming pages.
